Hollywood Is Home To LA's Busiest — And Worst — Intersection: Report

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Crunching traffic volume and crash data, a new report from the Los Angeles Times ranked the 14 worst intersections in Los Angeles — and four of them are in the Hollywood area.

The Times analyzed city data on traffic volumes and crashes to come up with its list and consulted a traffic engineering expert from USC for analysis.

Four of the Times' 14 worst intersections were in the Hollywood area.

That includes the publication's No. 1 worst intersection — Highland Avenue and Sunset Boulevard — which had the highest traffic volume of any intersection the Times analyzed. It has seen 312 collisions since 2010.

Here are all the intersections in the neighborhood that made the list:

• Highland Avenue and Sunset Boulevard (No. 1)
• Los Feliz and Griffith Park boulevards (No. 6)
• Santa Monica Boulevard and Highland Avenue (No. 8)
• Fountain and Hyperion avenues (No. 9)
