Hollywood Shootout Wounds Bystanders; 1 Dead, 3 Hurt
One man involved in a shootout on Highland Avenue was killed and three others were wounded Sunday night, including two women,
HOLLYWOOD, CA — Two men got into a shootout during an argument in Hollywood Sunday night, leaving one of them dead and one hospitalized along with two women who were just passing by when the shooting occurred, authorities said Monday.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting was reported at 9:35 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of Highland Avenue. Both men were in their mid-20s, said Officer Lizeth Lomeli of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.
One of the men was shot repeatedly and died at the scene. The other man drove himself to the hospital, where he was in stable condition, said Lomeli.

Two people caught in the crossfire were wounded but were displaying stable vital signs, Lomeli said.
FOX11 reported the innocent victims were women in a passing car.
