Hundreds Rally in LA to Protest Trump's Appointment of Breitbart News' Steve Bannon
Protesters marched on LA Wednesday to express disdain for Trump's right-hand man famed for trafficking in racism, sexism and homophobia.
LOS ANGELES, CA - Hundreds of people held a rally in downtown Los Angeles Wednesday to protest the appointment of Breitbart News chairman Steve Bannon as President-elect Donald J. Trump's senior adviser.
The rally started about 7 p.m. at the Spring Street entrance to Los Angeles City Hall and was scheduled to continue through 10 p.m.
A growing crowd of protesters chanted and waved signs decrying Bannon, who has been accused by opponents of fostering misogyny, white nationalism and even anti-Semitism.

A prominent rabbi, Schmuley Boteach, is among those who have expressed support for Bannon's appointment, saying he is a fierce defender of Israel and that charges of anti-Semitism are ill-informed.
Bannon became chief executive of Trump's campaign in August.
