HOLLYWOOD, CA — One of the victims of a violent home invasion in the Hollywood Hills Thursday night says he was targeted thanks to his work as a social media influencer, KTLA reported.

The robbery occurred at around 10:45 p.m. on the 8100 block of Mannix Drive in Laurel Canyon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. KTLA reported that three men entered the home and made off with a Rolex watch and other items worth some $20,000 before leaving in a getaway car.

The victims told KTLA that the suspects were armed and gained access to the home by breaking a side window. One of the victims was pistol whipped. Police said one of the three people inside the home suffered a laceration.
