Injured Runyon Canyon Hiker To Be Airlifted To Hospital
Los Angeles firefighters are working to rescue a hiker her broker her ankle in Runyon Canyon Friday.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A hiker at Inspiration Point East Hiking Trail in Runyon Canyon Park in the Hollywood Hills broke her ankle and was being airlifted to safety Friday morning.
A Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter is being sent to hoist her from the trail to a nearby hospital, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
