Jumper Snarls 101 Freeway In Hollywood
A man threatening to jump from an overpass onto the 101 Freeway in Hollywood has been safely taken into custody.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — Authorities were able to rescue a man who climbed up on a Hollywood (101) Freeway overpass in the Hollywood area and threatened to jump, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The jumper shutdown traffic on the southbound side of the freeway and caused delays in both directions. The jumper was reported at 1:12 p.m. Wednesday, and he was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Fire Department shortly after.
