HOLLYWOOD, CA — Lady Gaga's stolen bulldogs were "safely reunited" with the singer's representatives Friday evening, the Los Angels Police Department said. The two dogs were taken in a violent shooting and robbery in Hollywood on Wednesday night that left her dog walker, Ryan Fischer, wounded.

A woman returned the two dogs, Koji and Gustav, to the singer's staff and police at the department's Olympic Station in Koreatown at 6 p.m. on Friday, police said. Both the woman's identity and where the dogs were found will remain confidential during the investigation and for her safety, officials said.

"The woman found the dogs and reached out to Lady Gaga’s staff to return them," police officials wrote on Twitter.

Police have not specified whether the dogs were targeted.

Following the violent heist, Gaga reportedly offered a $500,000 reward for their safe return. Before their return on Friday, Gaga offered the award again.

"My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness," Gaga said on Instagram.

Fischer was hospitalized but was in stable condition after the shooting, and police said his injuries weren't life-threatening. Detectives will continue to investigate the matter "to ensure the persons responsible are ultimately arrested and brought before justice," officials said.

The shooting took place around 9:40 p.m. near Sierra Bonita Avenue and Sunset Boulevard, the department said.

Police said two suspects jumped out of a white Nissan Altima as Fischer was walking Gaga's three French bulldogs. The two demanded Fischer turn over the dogs at gun point, and as a struggle ensued, Fischer was shot once. The suspects then fled with two of the three dogs.

The third dog escaped the struggle and was later retrieved by Gaga's bodyguard.

The first suspect was described as a Black man between 20-25 years old, with blond dreadlocks and wearing a black hoodie. The second suspect was also a Black man, wearing dark clothing and was between 20-25 years old.

The high-profile singer was away from her dogs when the robbery unfolded. She is currently in Rome working on a movie, according to TMZ.

Gaga announced in 2016 that she had adopted a new puppy, who she would later name Gustav.

"I chose him last moment because my best friend since I was 4. Bo O'Connor Chef extraordinaire of The Pomeroy NYC bought him, we didn't want them to be separated!" she said at the time.
