Legendary LA Kings Announcer Bob Miller's Quadruple Bypass a Success

The 77-year-old Hall of Fame hockey announcer is reportedly recovering in intensive care.

Longtime Los Angeles Kings announcer Bob Miller underwent successful quadruple heart bypass surgery today, the team announced.

The 77-year-old Miller was taken to intensive care after the four-hour operation.

“Everything went well,” a team official said.

Miller’s family is grateful for the great news and the tremendous amount of well wishes they have received, the official said.

Miller has been a Kings announcer since 1973.
