Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Assaulting Woman In Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Several days after a woman was attacked in Hollywood, a 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident, authorities said.

Lancaster resident Dammion Jamarr Adkins, 33, was arrested on Wednesday around 6:30 p.m.

On July 29, around 2:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of North Las Palmas Avenue for a battery investigation. Officers learned that a woman was knocked unconscious and had been kicked in the head b ya male suspect.

The attack was captured on cell phone video and received significant attention on news and social media channels.
