Man Beaten To Death In Hollywood, Killers At Large

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Police are looking for bat-wielding killers who beat a man to death in Hollywood Wednesday night.

The victim was screaming for help in the 1000 block of Serrano Avenue, near Santa Monica Boulevard and the Hollywood (101) Freeway, at about 9:10 p.m. Wednesday. When police arrived they found the injured man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division.

Investigators are looking for three men who they believe may have used a bat in the deadly beating. A detailed description of the suspects was not immediately available.
