Man Killed By Police In Hollywood Gym Identified
Authorities identified a 30-year-old man shot and killed by an LAPD officer inside the locker room of a Hollywood gym this week.

HOLLYWOOD, CA —Officials identified a 30-year-old man shot and killed by police inside the locker room of a 24-Hour Fitness gym in Hollywood this week.
The Los Angeles County coroner's office identified the man as Albert Ramon Dorsey. According to police, Dorsey was a homeless man who got into an altercation with a 24-Hour Fitness employee in the gym's locker room. Police were called to the gym in the 6300 block of Sunset Boulevard at about 9 p.m. Monday, Los Angeles police Officer Greg Kraft said.
"We received a battery call involving a gym employee and a customer," Kraft said. "Officers responded and a confrontation occurred between a man in his 30s and the officers. At some point, the suspect gained control of the officer's Taser and the OIS ensued."

The officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment, Kraft said. Dorsey died at the scene.
