Man Shot By Robber Outside His Hollywood Hills Home

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man was shot and wounded in a struggle with an armed robber outside his Hollywood Hills home Sunday. The robber remains at large.

The man was sitting in his car talking on his cell phone at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday in the 8000 block of Mulholland Drive when a gunman approached him, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The robber demand his property, and that is when a struggle ensued. The man suffered a gunshot wound to the hand but is expected to survive.

Investigators did not release a description of the suspect.
