Matt Cady who choreographed tours for Madonna and Britney Spears to present full-length dance spectacular

As a seasoned, sought-after artist known for creating, directing, choreographing and dancing in the acclaimed group Fanny Pak featured on MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew,” choreographing world tours for Madonna, Britney Spears and Ricky Martin, as well as choreographing in the film “Honey 2” and the Lifetime show “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition,” Matt Cady brings his virtuoso to Los Angeles in his first full-length show titled “It’s About Robots and Humans and the Meaning of Life” that he directed, choreographed, produced and scored. The show will be held at Barnsdall Gallery Theatre located at 4800 Hollywood Blvd. on Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. and will showcase 15 professional dancers telling the story of societal and governmental threats to individuality in the galactic through intricate, dynamic choreography set to an original score. When asking Cady what initiated his desire to develop this show, he replied, “I’ve been conceptualizing my own show for more than seven years and took a long hibernation to develop the music and story line for the production.”

He added, “The production taps into what made me love dance and is loosely based on my experience with Fanny Pak.”
