Millennium Hollywood Project to Be Discussed on Tuesday

The Los Angeles City Council's Planning and Land Use Management Committee will take up the proposed development.

There will be a hearing on Tuesday of the Planning and Land Use Management Committee, or PLUM, to discuss the Millennium Hollywood Project.

The public hearing, which was rescheduled from June 4 at the request of the developer, is now scheduled to take place at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Los Angeles City Hall.

The Millennium Hollywood Project includes plans to build two, 55-story skyscrapers near the Capitol Records Building on Vine Street.

Tuesday's meeting will be held in Room 340 at City Hall located at 200 North Spring St.

Organizations and local neighborhood councils have expressed their displeasure with the project. A petition was also started in opposition to the plans.

The entire Los Angeles City Council is expected to weigh in on the project on Wednesday.
