Missing Actress Found Safe By LAPD On Monday

Police confirmed Tanya Fear was located after being reported missing last Thursday. Fear had been spotted at a grocery store on Sunday.

HOLLYWOOD, CA —The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed Monday that British actress Tanya Fear had been located after having been reported missing last week, according to CBS News.com. Fear's family said the 31-year-old actress was safe.

"It is with great pleasure and relief to report, that Tanya has been found safe, by Police today," read a Monday statement on a Twitter account set up by Fear's family. "We understand she is not physically harmed, but as a precaution, is being assessed at a local hospital."

Fear's family offered thanks to local authorities and the public after the actress was located.

"We wish to thank the police, members of the public for their efforts in locating Tanya, as well as the outpouring of concern and support over the last several days. Tanya's family are relived (sic) and extremely grateful."

Fear, who starred in the TV show "Dr. Who" had been reported missing Sept. 9 in the Hollywood Bowl area where she lives, according to ABC7.com. Fear was reportedly seen Sunday at a Trader Joe's grocery store in West Hollywood, according to KTLA.
