More Men Accuse Kevin Spacey Of Sexual Abuse

Since "Star Trek" actor Anthony Rapp accused Kevin Spacey of sexual misconduct, several others have shared similar stories: BREAKING

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Actor Kevin Spacey is reportedly seeking treatment after several young men came forward to accuse the Oscar winner of sexually inappropriate behavior, including unwanted groping.

In response to the allegations, Spacey's publicist told the New York Times, the actor "is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment. No other information is available at this time."

Several accusations stem from Spacey's alleged behavior during his stint as the artistic director of London's Old Vic theater from 2004 to 2015. According to reports from London, theater staff turned a blind eye to Spacey's alleged sexual misconduct.

A former employee of the theater told the Guardian,“We were all involved in keeping it quiet. I witnessed him groping men many times in all sorts of different situations.... at his apartment in North Lambeth and even at the Old Vic itself and his favourite pub the Pineapple, which is right near the Old Vic. He was taking advantage of the fact that he is this great icon.“He touched men on the crotch. Doing it really fast so they couldn’t get out of the way.”

The Old Vic issued a statement saying that it was "deeply dismayed" by the allegations of sexual improprieties, adding that it had set up an email address for anyone who has worked there to make a confidential complaint about inappropriate behavior by Spacey, or anyone else.

On Sunday, "Star Trek: Discovery" actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of sexual misconduct years ago in his New York apartment, when Spacey was 26 and Rapp was 14. Rapp said that after the other guests left the party, Spacey, appearing drunk, took him into his bedroom and lay on top of him.

Spacey responded to Rapp's allegations by apologizing but saying he didn't remember the incident. In the same statement, he came out as gay, attracting extensive criticism for citing his homosexuality in the context of the alleged sexual abuse of a 14-year-old.

Rapp's account apparently paved the way for several other artists to share their stories of sexual abuse by Spacey.

Another man has since come forward and said that when he was 17, Spacey invited him to spend the weekend in New York and asked him to share his bed. The man said he declined and slept on the sofa. He then described waking up in the morning to find Spacey's arms around him.

"I was uncomfortable, at best, traumatized at worst," he said.

And in a statement posted on Facebook, Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos claimed Spacey routinely made unwanted advances toward young men.

"It seems that it only took a male under 30 to make Mr. Spacey feel free to touch us," he said. "I myself had a couple of unpleasant encounters with Spacey that were on the edge of being called harassment...Had I been a woman, I probably would not have hesitated to identify it as such, but I suppose that the lack of a more specifically direct or aggressive action led me to justify the incident as ‘one of those things’,” he told the Guardian.

A third man, U.S. filmmaker Tony Montana, told Radar Online he suffered from PTSD for six months after Spacey grabbed his crotch in a Los Angeles bar in 2003.

"I put my hand down and turned his thumb back to get his hand off it," Montana said. "I paid for my drink and got away from him."
