“Scream” — Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette; directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett


David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Marley Shelton and Roger L. Jackson reprise their iconic roles in the fifth installment of the “Scream” film franchise. Set 25 years after the events of the original film, the slasher saga continues with Sidney Prescott (Campbell) as she confronts a new masked killer in the quiet town of Woodsboro. “Uncharted” — Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali; directed by Ruben Fleischer


Looking for Tom Holland’s next film after “Spider-Man: No Way Home”? Look no further than “Uncharted.” But expect the Spidey star not to do any web-slinging.

Based on a video game, the action-adventure film follows the story of Nathan Drake (Holland), a young fortune hunter in search of "the greatest treasure never found." Joining Drake is his mentor, Sully (Mark Wahlberg).

“The Batman” — Zoë Kravitz, Robert Pattinson; directed by Matt Reeves


In a “Batman” reboot, the “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson puts his own spin on the caped crusader, who is hell-bent on avenging the death of his parents and protecting Gotham City from baddies. The superhero film also stars Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrel as the Penguin, and Paul Dano as the Riddler.

“The Lost City” — Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum; directed by Aaron Nee and Adam Nee


The action-adventure comedy stars Sanda Bullock as a romance novelist who gets kidnapped by a billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe). Why? Apparently, the ultrarich man needs her help to find a long-lost city brimming with priceless treasure. Thank goodness, her book cover model (Channing Tatum) comes to her rescue.

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” — Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong; directed by Sam Raimi


What if Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Wong (Benedict Wong) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) joined forces to fight a super-sinister alternate version of Strange in a multiverse filled with utter madness? This is exactly the premise of Sam Raimi’s new movie.

“Legally Blonde 3” (Release Date: May 20) — Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Coolidge, Alanna Ubach; directed by Jamie Suk


It’s time yet again to catch up with Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) who returns for the threequel. The storyline is unknown, but we expect to laugh and cry in excitement from a script written by Mindy Kaling.

“Top Gun: Maverick” — Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller; directed by Joseph Kosinski


Nearly 36 years after Tom Cruise took our breath away in 1986’s “Top Gun,” the megastar returns to his iconic role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. This time around, Maverick becomes an instructor in the Navy’s “Top Gun” program, and one of his students is Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), son of Maverick’s late fighting partner, Goose. Seemingly, Bradshaw feels the need — for speed? No, to prove himself.

“Jurassic World: Dominion” — Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard; directed by Colin Trevorrow


Nearly 30 years since Steven Spielberg adapted Michael Crichton’s bestseller, the “Jurassic Park” film saga ends with the release of its fifth and final installment, “Jurassic World: Dominion.”

Set in a world where dinosaurs and humans co-exist freely, the new film, which is a direct sequel to 2018’s “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” reunites original stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum for the first time since 2001’s “Jurassic Park III.” “Jurassic World” stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard also return to reprise their roles of Owen Brady and Claire Dearing.

“Thor: Love and Thunder” — Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson; directed by Taika Waititi


The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) comes roaring back with a sequel to 2017’s “Thor: Ragnarok.” This time around, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) takes on the mantle and powers of Thor the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth). Meanwhile, Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) and members of the Guardians of the Galaxy — Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Drax (Dave Bautista), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel) — are also in for the cosmic ride.

“Black Adam” — Dwayne Johnson, Pierce Brosnan; directed by Jaume Collet-Serra


The 11th film in the DC Extended Universe stars Dwayne Johnson as the title anti-hero. Joining Johnson in the action adventure are Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone. The storyline is still under wraps, but perhaps, there will be a steamy romance in store for our hero.

“Mission: Impossible 7” (Release Date: September 30) — Rebecca Ferguson, Tom Cruise, Cary Elwes; directed by Christopher McQuarrie


The “Mission: Impossible” film franchise returns to the big screen with a seventh installment, starring the incomparable Tom Cruise. The storyline is under wraps but expect death-defying stunts by Cruise himself.

“The Flash” — Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck; directed by Andy Muschietti


The DC superhero, known for his ability to sprint in a flash, finally gets his own solo outing. The new film follows the superhero’s alter ego, Barry Allen (Ezra Miller), as he sprints back in time to reverse the course of his mother’s death. Along the way, he will cross paths with Gotham City’s favorite son, Batman — Surprise! Surprise! Michael Keaton reprises his famous 1980s’ role as the caped crusader.

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” — Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o; directed by Ryan Coogler


The cast of the 2018 blockbuster hit reprise their roles in the sequel to honor the legacy of the late Chadwick Boseman.

“Avatar 2” — Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington; directed by James Cameron


Get excited, “Avatar” fans! The sequel is expected to make an epic splash 13 years after the original’s silver-screen debut in 2009. At its core, the new movie finds Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) desperately trying to flee their home to protect their family from an old threat.

“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” — Jason Momoa, Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson; directed by James Wan


Jason Momoa returns to the “Aquaman” franchise, reprising his role as the king of Atlantis. The storyline is under wraps, but original cast members Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Dolph Lundgren and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are expected to join Momoa and director James Wan in the sequel.
