North Hollywood Lamps Plus Worker Alleges Sexual Harassment
An employee at the North Hollywood Lamps plus claims she was sexually harassed by her boss.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Lamps Plus Inc. was sued Thursday by a former office manager at its North Hollywood store who alleges she was sexually harassed and discriminated against by her supervisor because of her gender.
Sandra Fajardo's Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit also names the ex- supervisor, Andre Abdelian, as a defendant. The complaint seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
A representative for Chatsworth-based Lamps Plus could not be immediately reached.

The suit states that Fajardo began working for the company in February 2007 and that Abdelian was a payroll manager who supervised her.
Beginning in October 2014, Abdelian began harassing the plaintiff with conduct that included sending her text messages with "vile and disgusting sexual images," the suit alleges.

The alleged abuses continued even after she reported Abdelian to his boss and to human resources, the suit states.
Fajardo believes Abdelian had a history of such behavior and that Lamps Plus did nothing about his past conduct, the suit states.
Fajardo went out on medical leave in June 2016, according to her lawsuit.
