Oprah Winfrey To Give USC Commencement Speech
Oprah Winfrey will share her words of wisdom May 11 to students graduating from the USC Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism.

LOS ANGELES, CA — USC graduates will be getting life advice this year from one of the most famous women on the planet. Oprah Winfrey will give this year's commencement speech at the USC Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism graduation ceremony, the school announced Wednesday.
The famed talk show host, actress and "60 Minutes" special contributor Winfrey will share her words of wisdom to the future leaders May 11 at the Shrine Auditorium. Tickets are required. Each Annenberg communication and journalism graduate has been given four tickets to accommodate guests for the ceremony.
Winfrey was an anchor on television newscasts in Nashville, Tennessee and Baltimore before beginning her career as a talk show host.
