Pink’s Famous Chili Dogs Will be 77 Cents for 77 Minutes Tonight
Pink's Famous Hot Dogs is celebrating its 77th anniversary today with 77-cent chili dogs.
HOLLYWOOD, CA -- Why cook dinner when you can head over to Pink’s Famous Hot Dogs, and feed the whole family for five bucks?
Pink’s is celebrating its 77th anniversary today by offering its chili dogs for 77 cents for just 77 minutes from rom 7 p.m. to 8:17 p.m. at the corner of La Brea and Melrose avenues. There’s just one catch. You have to limit yourself to seven chili dogs. The limit is design to speed up the long lines. Don't worry, if you get in line before 8:17 p.m., you'll still get the deal no matter what time you get to the front of the line.
According to its website, a Pink’s chili dog will normally set you back $4.40 cents.

All proceeds will be donated to the Bob Hope USO at Los Angeles. According to the company, the goal is “to raise funds for The BOB HOPE USO at LAX so our courageous soldiers can enjoy rest and recreation while they transit through Los Angeles to military locations in the world for the purpose of protecting America.”
Pink’s, named after founders Paul and Betty Pink, has been around since 1939.
