Prison Sentence for Woman Pimp Who Forced Teen into Hollywood Prostitution

A 23-year-old woman was sentenced today to 27 months in federal prison for conspiring to bring a teenage girl from Las Vegas to the Southland for the purpose of prostitution.

Tabitha Samaria Walls must also serve five years of supervised release after she gets out of prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Walls pleaded guilty last year to one count of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking.

“It’s really a sad case,” defense attorney Gerald C. Salseda said previously.

Walls and a co-defendant brought the teen from Las Vegas to the Southland, where they forced her to engage in prostitution in Los Angeles, Hollywood, Pomona and Ontario.

Court papers say the victim was forced to give up the money she earned as a prostitute to Walls and Kenyati Rahh-Potts, who also pleaded guilty to conspiracy and will be sentenced in June.

It was not immediately known where Walls and Rahh-Potts, 26, lived before their arrests.
