Protests Against Police Violence Continue In LA County Saturday
Demonstrators will again gather throughout the Southland Saturday for more protests challenging systemic racism and police brutality.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Demonstrators will again gather throughout the Southland for more protests and other actions challenging systemic racism and police brutality, and advocating for change.
The nationwide movement sparked by the Memorial Day death of George Floyd in Minneapolis continues nearly eight weeks after he was killed while in police custody and now embraces a range of issues.
Recent protests in Los Angeles have also focused on Andres Guardado, an 18-year-old security guard who was fatally shot in the back by a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy on June 18.
