Reality TV Industry Raises Over $200,000 for Saban Community Clinic's Patient Services
Reality TV Producer Cris Abrego Honored at Clinic's 'Let's Get Real' Event

LOS ANGELES, Calif., June 9, 2017 – Saban Community Clinic honored reality TV producer Cris Abrego, CEO, Endemol Shine North America and Chairman, Endemol Shine Americas, for his philanthropic leadership at its second annual ‘Let’s Get Real’ event held Tuesday, June 6, at the Jonathan Club in Santa Monica, Calif.
More than 300 reality TV producers, executives and agents came together to raise over $200,000 for the Clinic’s medical, dental, and behavioral health services for low-income and uninsured families in Los Angeles. The Clinic celebrates 50 years of caring for the community this year.
Hosted by The Friends of Saban Community Clinic, the Clinic’s fundraising arm, ‘Let’s Get Real’ aims to align the reality TV industry with the everyday reality Saban Community Clinic faces in providing affordable and/or free medical services to the most vulnerable citizens of Los Angeles.

“The Saban Community Clinic is an incredible organization that offers so many amazing programs to people here in the greater Los Angeles area. I am truly honored to be a part of ‘Let’s Get Real’ and to further support the terrific work being done by everyone at the Clinic,” said Abrego.
Abrego oversees both the North American and Latin American divisions of Endemol Shine Group, the global independent content creator, producer and distributor, with a diverse portfolio of companies that are behind some of the most prominent hit television formats and series in the world. He has overseen production of such hit reality shows as “Big Brother,” “MasterChef,” “MasterChef Junior,” “The Biggest Loser,” “The Surreal Life,” and “Flavor of Love,” among many others.

‘Let’s Get Real’ is co-chaired by Hayden Meyer, APA Partner and Head of Alternative & Factual Programming; David Eilenberg, ITV Entertainment President; and Marc Kamler, APA Partner and Alternative & Factual Agent.
