HOLLYWOOD, CA — Police Monday released surveillance images of a man believed to have shot a woman to death aboard a Metro Red Line train at the Hollywood/Vine Station Sunday. Authorities hope someone will recognize the suspect and come forward.

It's the second Metro shooting in less than a month. The shooting occurred on the train following an argument between the suspect and the victim, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Police were called to the metro station at about 5:10 a.m. Sunday, and they arrived to find bystanders performing CPR on a woman, who had been shot repeatedly. She was pronounced dead at hospital a short time later.

"Witnesses saw an agitated suspect pacing on the train. He had a verbal argument with the victim, who was seated nearby," police said. "The train stopped at (the) Hollywood/Vine (station). The suspect shot the victim and exited the train onto Hollywood Boulevard in an unknown direction."
