Ruptured Gas Main In West Hollywood Repaired

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A gas main rupture has been reported Wednesday morning at a construction site at North Hilldale Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. The incident was first reported at 9:09 a.m.

Four area residents were evacuated according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Gas company crews arrived on the scene to repair the break, which was secured as of 9:47 a.m.

No injuries were reported and the brief evacuation has ended according to the fire department. Some workers will stay on the scene to continue fixing the line.
