Stormy Daniels Offers $100K For 'Thug' Who Threatened Her

Stormy Daniels says she was threatened to keep quiet about an affair with President Trump and is offering a reward for the "thug's" arrest.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Adult-film actress Stormy Daniels released a sketch of the man she said threatened to hurt her if she didn't keep quiet about her alleged affair with Donald Trump Tuesday during an appearance on The View. Her attorney offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the "thug."

The alleged affair and the $130,000 hush payment issued by President Trump's longtime attorney Michael Cohen are at the center of the FBI's raid on Cohen's home and office last week. Daniels and her attorney contend the man who threatened her likely did so at the behest of Cohen or his cohorts.

Daniels retold the incident on The View Tuesday, admitting she didn't initially report the threat because she didn't want her husband to find out about her alleged one-night stand with the future president. She said a man threatened her in the Las Vegas parking lot of her exercise class.

The man, who Daniels described as good-looking, walked up to her as she was taking her infant daughter from her carseat and said her baby was beautiful and it would be a shame if something happened to her mom.

He added, “Forget about this story; leave Mr. Trump alone," according to Daniels.

President Trump has denied any knowledge of a nondisclosure contract with Daniels his attorney agreed to in his name. Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti filed papers Monday in Los Angeles arguing that a lawsuit seeking to undo the non-disclosure agreement should go forward against defense objections. Daniels' lawyer wrote that the civil case should move ahead because Trump and Cohen have provided no evidence to bolster their claim that a jury trial would be unfair to them. Avenatti also argues that Trump's attorney has already spoken publicly about the case and that a delay is unfair to his client.

Cohen asked U.S. District Judge S. James Otero on Friday to postpone trial of the lawsuit for three months because of what could be an overlapping criminal investigation in which Cohen's home, office and hotel room were searched by the FBI.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, is seeking to have the non-disclosure agreement she signed two years ago declared invalid. She alleges that the agreement was intended to silence her about the alleged tryst she had with Trump in 2006.

Cohen has said that as part of the pact, he paid $130,000 to Daniels out of his own pocket just before the presidential election and that he wasn't reimbursed. Cohen is asking the judge to compel closed-door arbitration to resolve the suit.

White House press officials have repeatedly said that Trump denies having an affair with Daniels.

Avenatti recently expanded the month-old lawsuit, adding a defamation allegation against Cohen, who has accused Daniels of lying about the alleged affair and her accusation that someone physically threatened her after she went public.

Cohen has filed papers alleging he could seek as much as $20 million from the actress for breaching the nondisclosure agreement.
