Suspected Hollywood Shooter Among Fugitives Hunted By FBI
Federal investigators said they won't give up finding a dozen suspect killers or shooters with ties to Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The FBI on Thursday called on Angelenos to help bring a dozen fugitives to justice. Each fugitive on the FBI's list has ties to Los Angeles, and rewards have been offered for information leading to their arrests.
Most are alleged killers. One is accused of attempted murder, and only one of the fugitives is a woman. None are related to one another beyond their ties to Los Angeles and authorities' suspicion that they may have each fled to Mexico.
"Since its inception, the FBI's Fugitive Task Force in Los Angeles has arrested over 2,000 fugitives wanted either for crimes committed in Los Angeles who then fled the jurisdiction, or fugitives wanted from jurisdictions outside the state of California who are located in the Los Angeles area," said Laura EImiller of the FBI.

Crossing into Mexico doesn't mean the fugitives are free, she said.
"At any given time, law enforcement in Southern California is seeking hundreds of fugitives, many of whom seek to hide from police by crossing our southern border and, in many cases, illegally entering Mexico to evade capture," Eimiller said. "Once agents pinpoint the location where the fugitive is believed to be residing, the FBI relies on its counterparts in Mexico to assist in the capture of the suspects."
