Teen Video Captures Horrific DUI Crash
An Instagram video showed teen alleged drunk driver flipping her vehicle and killing her sister.
A tragic case of underage drinking and death was reported by the Los Angeles Times. An 18-year-old and two 14-year-olds were involved in the crash, and video recorded the whole incident.
The older teen has been arrested for drunk driving and for gross vehicular manslaughter. Police say that she overcorrected on a turn and crashed into a wire fence, causing the car to flip. The two other girls were flung from the vehicle. None of the girls were not wearing seatbelts.
One of the passengers suffered leg trauma. The other, the driver’s sister, suffered severe head trauma and died at the scene. We know this because the driver was recording the whole incident on her phone, from before the accident to the sister’s death. Police are aware of the video and they are studying it for additional evidence.

Underage drinking is terrible because even adults have trouble keeping a straight mind when they’ve been drinking. Combined with adolescence, it creates extremely reckless behavior, like not wearing a seatbelt and poor driving. Here is just one of many examples of the result.
Never drink and drive, especially if you’re underage. Any amount of alcohol in your system will result in a DUI conviction if you are below 21.
