Three Clippers Named to 2016 Olympic Men's Basketball Team

The U.S. men's basketball team will send three Clippers to this year's Olympics.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul, forward Blake Griffin and center DeAndre Jordan were among the 30 finalists announced today for the 2016 U.S. Olympic men’s basketball team.

Paul was a member of both the 2008 and 2012 gold medal-winning teams and is seeking to join Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James and David Robinson as three- time U.S. Olympic players.

Anthony and James are also among the 30 finalists.

Griffin was selected to play on the 2012 Olympic team, but withdrew because of an injury.
