Towne Street Theatre presents a staged reading of Bubas and Barefeet in the Storm by Barbara White Morgan. In her new play, LA based playwright Morgan, has created a snapshot of turbulent times. We travel back to the late 1960's, where passions are fueled by a potentially deadly confrontation between a black revolutionary, a sucessful black businessman, and his socialite wife.
Kim Harrington directs the TST acting ensemble. There will be a talk-back session with the playwright, director, and cast immediately following the performance.
