Transient Suspected Of Raping And Kidnapping Woman
Police arrested a man suspected of attacking, raping and kidnapping a woman as she walked to her car in a parking garage.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A joint task force this week in Hollywood arrested a transient suspected of attacking a woman in a North Hollywood parking garage, raping and kidnapping her.
Allen Dante Villarreal, 26, was arrested in Hollywood Thursday by a members of the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Division, the U.S. Marshals Service Los Angeles Regional Fugitive Task Force and the District Attorney's Bureau of Investigation Special Enforcement Team. The charges include allegations of kidnapping and threatening by fear of death.
According to prosecutors, he approached a woman walking to her car in a parking structure on the evening of March 8, knocking her unconscious, then raping her and driving off in her car with her inside it, said Deputy District Attorney Ranna Jahanshahi.

Authorities did not say how she ultimately escaped. He was set to be arraigned Friday on one felony count each of rape of an unconscious person, assault with intent to commit a felony, kidnapping to commit another crime, second-degree robbery and criminal threats, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
Villarreal is described as a transient with multiple aliases and ties to several states. He remains jailed in lieu of $1.2 million bail and could face a potential life term in state prison if convicted as charge, according to the District Attorney's Office.
