Missing Actress Found Dead Near Runyon Canyon Park

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A television actress who's been missing for nearly a week was found dead Friday near Runyon Canyon Park, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police were called at about 8:30 a.m. Friday to respond to a report of a body found in the area of Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue, just south of Runyon Canyon Park in the Hollywood Hills West neighborhood. The Los Angeles Coroner's Office confirmed that the victim at the scene was positively identified as missing actress Lindsey Pearlman, according to the LAPD.

The coroner's office did not immediately release information about Pearlman's manner and time of death.

Forty-three-year-old Pearlman was last seen at about noon Sunday in the 1600 block of North Mariposa Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"Pearlman failed to return home and has not been seen or heard from since," Los Angeles police said in a statement before Pearlman was found. "Friends and family fear for her safety."

Pearlman has appeared in a number of television shows including two recurring roles in 2021 on "Vicious" and "The Ms. Pat Show." She also appeared in episodes of "General Hospital" in 2020, "American Housewife" in 2019, and "Chicago Justice" in 2017.
