Video: Armed Robbery Victim Chased Onto Sunset Blvd. And Struck
Security cameras captured the violent robbery, showing a gunman chasing a man before running him down with a car.
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man was robbed at gunpoint in a West Hollywood parking lot and then run over by his attackers as he attempted to get away
The robbery happened just after 9 a.m. in the 9000 block of West Sunset Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Security footage obtained by KTLA showed a masked gunman corner a man who had just parked his car behind a Sunset Boulevard business. The victim attempts to run away from the robber, who is later joined by another suspect. The duo gets into a car and slam into the victim just as he dashes onto Sunset Boulevard. The impact tosses him atop the windshield and onto the pavement. He tries to stand but falls, and a second robber gets out of the car and wrestles a gold ring from the victim's finger.

The vehicle was described as a dark 4- door sedan, possibly an Infiniti. Paramedics sent to the location on a report that a pedestrian was injured by a vehicle took the man to a hospital in unknown condition, according to the Los Angeles County Fire department.
