Viola Davis & Larry Wilmore to Co-executive produce BLACK DON’T CRACK comedy series.
New TV comedy series slated to air on ABC

Deadline is reporting there is a new TV comedy on deck written and executive produced by Insecure co-executive producer Regina Hicks called BLACK DON’T CRACK. Oscar winner Viola Davis and Insecure co-creator Larry Wilmore, have signed up to co-executive produce the show slated to air on the ABC network.
The upcoming comedy is reported to center around three sorority sisters who lose touch after college and then reunite some years later realizing that it’s okay to crack and rely on each other after all those years.
“Seeing these three African American women who appear not to age
but, to have challenges that we can all relate to and in a way, we have
not seen before, will be a revelation.”

Black Don’t Crack is said to be named after the popular urban phrase that you here all the time when referring to black peoples skin and lack of wrinkles and signs of aging as compared to other racial
ethnicities. Stay tuned & watch for it on ABC, the cast details & premiere have not been announced yet.
