Will Ferrell To Give USC Commencement Speech
USC Alumni Will Ferrell will give speak at the 134th commencement ceremony in May for the graduating class of 2017.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Will Ferrell will deliver the main address at USC's 134th commencement ceremony on May 12, the university announced Thursday.
Ferrell graduated from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism in 1990 with a degree in sports information. He has supported the university by hosting the USC School of Cinematic Arts' 75th Anniversary Gala, appeared as a guest drum major for the Trojan Marching Band and participated in the Swim With Mike for the Physically Challenged Athletes Scholarship Fund fundraiser.
Approximately 15,000 degrees will be conferred during USC's commencement, including more than 1,500 doctorate degrees, at the main ceremony in Alumni Park and satellite ceremonies across the University Park and Health Sciences campuses.
