Woman Her 80s Killed In Sunset Boulevard Hit-And-Run

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a woman in her 80s on Sunset Boulevard in East Hollywood Monday morning, and authorities are asking for help finding her killer.

The woman was crossing the street in a crosswalk at Sunset Boulevard and Serrano Avenue at about 7 a.m. Monday when she was struck, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. She was taken to a hospital where she died, according to police.

Investigators did not immediately identify the victim nor release a description of the hit-and-run driver.
