Woman Shot In Hollywood, Shooter At Large

A woman shot in the leg in the early morning hours managed to run inside a nearby Hollywood business for help.

HOLLYWOOD, CA - A woman was shot in Hollywood Tuesday morning and police are looking for the shooter.

The woman was shot in the leg at least once but managed to run into a nearby business and asl for help. The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. the 1600 block of North Cahuenga Boulevard. The woman, between 25 and 30 years old, had been shot at least once in the lower leg, according to Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division.

She was transported to a hospital with a non-life threatening injury, said Lopez.

A detailed description of the shooter or shooter or a motive for the incident was not immediately available.
