Woman Wounded In Hollywood Drive-By Shooting

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A woman was wounded in a drive-by shooting on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood Wednesday, and the shooter remains at large.

The woman was hospitalized in stable condition, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Authorities did not immediately release her identity nor a suspect description.

Officers responded at approximately 12:10 a.m. to Sunset Boulevard and Laurel Avenue where they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, said LAPD Officer Lizeth Lomeli.

According to witnesses, the woman was walking on Sunset when a car drove up and fired several shots at her before driving away.
