Sandcastle Showdown - Kids Sandcastle Competition in Imperial Beach

Are you good at building sandcastles? Get your friends together and compete for prizes at the Sandcastle Showdown on July 18 at Imperial Beach, during the Sun & Sea Festival.

We will have up to 19 teams with 5 (or less) participants in a team competing for ribbons and prizes. All team members/builders must be 14-years-old or younger. You can sign up early via the QR Code above or on July 18 between 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on day of the event.

Check in is required at the Woman’s Club booth located under the Surf Henge statue on Pier Plaza. Each team will receive their building plot assignment. Every member will receive a bucket and a goodie bag.

The Award ceremony to announce the winners will take place at Noon on the main stage in Pier Plaza.
