County parks and campgrounds will remain open during regular operating hours, although certain recreation offices and community centers will close.

Law enforcement, emergency animal control response and other essential county services will continue operating during the holiday.

Normal county business hours are scheduled to resume Thursday, Nov. 12.

Veterans Day is observed annually Nov. 11 to honor those who have served in the United States military.

Residents can check facility information and county service updates through the County of San Diego website.

City-operated facilities and services may follow separate holiday schedules, and residents should check with the city of Imperial Beach before visiting municipal offices.
