Average Gas Price Near Imperial Beach Finally Dips, Ends 16-Day Streak of Increases

The average price is 4.2 cents higher than a week ago and 14.6 cents more than one month ago, but 14.2 cents less than one year ago.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – A 16-day streak of increases in the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County ended Thursday with a decrease of two-tenths of a cent to $2.863.

The average price rose 13.2 cents during the streak, including four-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The streak was the longest since a 26-day streak from March 8-April 2.

The average price is 4.2 cents higher than a week ago and 14.6 cents more than one month ago, but 14.2 cents less than one year ago.
