Bonita Animal Shelter Offering a Half Off Special

BONITA, CA -- It’s the fall season, as well as the season to fall in love with a warm and fuzzy cat or dog at the South County animal shelter. The shelter is offering a “Fall in Love” half-price adoption special this weekend, Nov. 19 and 20.

As part of a 90-day pilot project, all three of the County’s shelters -- in Bonita, San Diego and Carlsbad -- are open Sundays, excluding holidays. Interested parties can drop by the South County location between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. either day. The address is 5821 Sweetwater Road, Bonita.

Patrons can receive a 50 percent discount on the regular adoption fee, which includes spay or neuter, vaccinations, flea control, a microchip plus a free veterinary exam within the first 10 days. The weekend deal is only for dogs and cats.
