Driving in IB #4: No More Aging Eyesore, Weinerschnitzel Sign Replaced

finally overcame delays in repairing a sign that was damaged 5 1/2 months ago .

Just before 7:00am on Tuesday morning August 2nd, a two-man sign installation crew from Encore Image arrived to repair IB’s aging eyesore, with a great big W dangling from their truck.

By 9:30am the eyesore was cut away and the bottom half of a new sign was lowered into place.

A little after 2:00pm, I became a little concerned for the restaurant when I saw a small truck with the City’s logo parked by the sign, and the sign installers huddled around a half installed sign with a City Inspector shaking his head and finger.

Luckily, the sign crew pulled away about 4:00pm and left with no more aging eyesore on Palm & Florence.

It's a shame of Weinerschnitzel repairing their sign before 400,000 of our closest friends drove past it after leaving the .
