Driving in IB #5: New Clocks on ‘Neighbors Market’ Communicate More than the Current Time
Q: Clocks are on the outside, but can you guess what's inside the new Neighbors Market two-story addition?
on the corner of 13th & Iris recently completed construction on a two story addition that conveniently includes two big clocks, one facing 13th Street and the other facing Iris Avenue.
Driving by during construction, it appeared one side of the little market was being expanded by about 15 feet, and adding a second floor.
After construction was complete, I went inside to take a look at the changes.

To my surprise, there was no evidence of recent construction or any expansion to the inside of the market.
Filled with curiosity, I walked around the two-story structure to discover that it's actually a new, well disguised, AT&T cellular phone tower.

They definitely fooled me! I never would have guessed it was a cell tower, I thought they only made them look like trees.
