Going Noodles Over Noodles Noodles

Patch recently invited web surfers who Know of a Business in Imperial Beach Opening or Closing to post a comment... But this new Thai restaurant is so darn good - it deserves it's very own post!

Although not technically behind the iron curtain boarders of Imperial Beach, the new Thai restaurant in the 16th and Palm Blockbuster shopping center is serving great Thai food to IB's locals who are starving for a healthy place to eat - locally.

I discovered years ago, that there are two types of Thai food (restaurants) - the rich "sweet style", and the working class "spicy style".  That said, Noodles Noodles is definitely a working class style of cooking, and our local Aroma Thai is the rich style.

So far, every dish I've tried at Noodles Noodles has been as-good-as the best Thai food I've ever tried - but it's the spiciest food I've ever had!

WARNING TO ALL who like it spicy - you'll be asked to choose your level of spicy from 1 to 10 - DO NOT PICK 7.  At best it will be a waste of money  - at worst it will be your last meal!  I strongly suggest starting with level 3! After trying a few bites of a spicy level 7 Pad Thai dish, I was on fire for hours... and hours... the spice actually burnt my lips!

Noodles Noodles cares about the quality of your food so much, they cut four holes in your to-go container to release the steam, keeping your crispy food crispy on your short drive, walk or ride back to IB.

Who else does that, locally? That amount of care is worthy of at least one taste test - don't you agree?

And OMG! Healthy eaters absolutely must try the Spring Roll (#2) - ASAP!  Besides being incredibly healthy by themselves - they're simply amazing with the accompanying peanut sauce! 

I think we can all agree that IB despratly needs a healthy place to eat, and if we wait for the 9th and Palm shopping center, we may never eat healthy - locally!
