The hearts of palm tree sauce is a favorite addition to pasteles for most Brazilians and includes tomato, corn and milk, said Almeida who is originally from Sao Paulo.
"I've been doing this kind of thing for three years since I got in the U.S. I was working for someone else but I got my own business like a year ago," Almeida said.
