Brush Fire Halted In Chula Vista

CHULA VISTA, CA — Crews halted the spread of a brush fire Thursday in Chula Vista.
The blaze sparked northeast of Mount Miguel and Proctor Valley roads in eastern Chula Vista, according to Cal Fire San Diego. The flames scorched just over 20 acres before ground and airborne crews stopped the forward rate of spread.
There were no reports of structural damage or injuries.
