Brush Fire Sparks Near U.S.-Mexico Border
The slow-moving fire, called the Border 7 Fire, burned about 9 acres, according to Cal Fire.

SAN DIEGO, CA β A brush fire sparked Monday night near the international border in Otay Mesa.
The blaze broke out around 10 p.m. in Tin Can Canyon near Otay Mountain, according to Cal Fire.
The slow-moving fire, called the Border 7 Fire, burned about 9 acres. The fire did not threaten any structures but was difficult to access, Cal Fire officials said.

By 10 a.m. Tuesday, the fire was 75 percent contained, officials said.
