It seemed to happen so quickly, from a couple of single story old buildings, to an eye-catching 4-story grand focal point - on the east-side of Palm Avenue, the American Legion Post 820 is built, open and nearly 100% occupied.
With a reliable source estimating a residential occupancy rate of over eighty-five percent, the construction of the parking structure done, and man's best friend seen in a top floor window - it appears that the $8.5 million dollar American Legion construction project may be on-time and complete.
So now it's time to release this project, which I referred to in my September 2012 post, "American Legion Post Reaches 4th and Final Story".
My original idea was to present this picture-flip-book video with an application to join the Legion, however, after reviewing the membership requirements - even through I'm a service-related disable veteran - it appears that I was only on active-duty during the "cold war" - therefore I'm not eligible to be a legionnaire. Nonetheless, I'll be presenting the Legion with a multimedia "Directors Cut" High Def - DVD version of this video - with extra pictures and zooms.
Hope you enjoy the video - it was a lot of fun to create, and I learned a lot too.
