Cal Fire Knocks Down Brush Fire Along I-8
The blaze broke out Thursday afternoon, officials said.

CAMPO, CA —Firefighters halted the spread of a one-acre brush fire that was reported Thursday afternoon alongside Interstate 8, near Williams Road in the Campo area, according to Cal Fire.
The spread was reported as "moderate," and crews were to remain at the scene for clean-up, officials said.
No structural damage or injuries were reported.
